This article discuses the aim and purpose of patriotic education of the youth in the modern Kazakh society, the role of physical fitness qualities of the younger generation in the implementation the patriotic deeds in the life of the people. In this relation the article examines the Kazakh national equestrian sports ("Alamanbaige", "currentbaige", "қunanbaige", "zhorғazharys", "kizқuu", "kokpar", "audarispac", "jambaatu "etc.), various folk games and competitions, providing the most effective integration of physical training of the youth and their patriotic education.
