The urgency of the problem under investigation is due to the need to find new means and methods to enhance the students' independent work. Electronic educational resources allow to intensify and expand the range of students' independent work as well as to improve the quality of their educational activities. The effectiveness of the combination of e-learning and traditional forms of learning is justified by the analysis of the semester students' progress and the results of the exam on the subject "Mathematical Analysis". For teachers the materials of the article can be the basis for making decision in favor of using electronic educational resources in their teaching activities.
