Redundant publication

It has come to the Editors’ notice that a version of the article from Education & Self Development, ‘Didactic conditions for the formation of information culture of the future teacher of law ‘ by A.N. Afzalova, published in Volume 2 (6) was published in the Kazan pedagogical Journal at around the same time. This article in E&SD should have included a reference to the article by the same author in the Kazan pedagogical Journal.

At that time, the instructions for authors in E&SD did not include require authors to ” Confirm that their contribution is original and that is has neither been published previously nor is currently being considered for publication elsewhere.”. Authors must now confirm this in their covering letter to the Editor-in-Chief when they make the submission;

Retraction

The following article from Education & Self Development, ‘ Information culture of the teacher of additional education of children by N.V. Bessonova, published in Issue 5 (September 2007) of the Journal has been retracted by the Editor in Chief, and the publishers Kazan Federal University, due to the inclusion of significant passages of a dissertation written by Svetlana Mikhailovna Konyushenko.

This article in E&SD should have included a reference to the article by the same author in the Siberian Pedagogical Magazine.

Kh Shakurov, published in Issue 4 (July 2007) reproduced a significant amount of text from an earlier monograph by the same author published by Kazan National State Technological University. This article in E&SD should have included a reference to that mongraph.

At that time, the instructions for authors in E&SD did not include require authors to ” Confirm that their contribution is original and that is has neither been published previously nor is currently being considered for publication elsewhere.” Authors must now confirm this in their covering letter to the Editor-in-Chief when they make the submission.
