Ruth Gannon Cook, Ed.D. is an Associate Professor at DePaul University in the School for New Learning since 2003. She received her doctorate from the University of Houston (Tier 1 Research), and her undergraduate and Masters from Loyola University, New Orleans. She received a Certificate for Advanced Studies from the Queens College, Cambridge, United Kingdom. Ruth has been Editor of the Journal of Educators Online for five years and serves on the Editorial Boards of Review of Educational Research, Tech Trends and International Journal of Technology and Educational Marketing. She serves on DePaul University’s Faculty Council and has served on the Executive Committees the Committee for Online Learning, and the IRB Committees and, in addition, she serves on the Coleman Entrepreneurship Advisory Team, the Board of Trustees of the Cordell Hull Foundation for International Education, and has served on the Girl Scouts Chicago Council of 100 and the Pediatric AIDS Foundation of Children’s’ Hospital.
